When you're traveling, anything can happen. That is both exciting, and exhausting. It's exactly what ends up making life an adventure. You have total and complete control of your reigns, which is something that we lose sight of in the western world...
So why do people give up on their dreams? Go home early? Or live a whole life unhappy with their current circumstances, but never take steps towards change?
Back "home" we can simply take a dead-end job making minimum wage and still have more than everything that we need to live. This comfortable feeling is exactly what starts to creep in on us all. When we have such a large security net, we don't even try. But, it goes even further than that, our brains actively tell us to give up. Our brain becomes a little whisper in our ear, "don't give up all this comfort and guaranteed security for something unknown."
It's hard not to listen to that whisper. I did, and I came home early from my first trip. Imagine trying to tell yourself that you had to stay in a foreign country, with no money, not being fluent in that countries language. It's scary, and your brain will paint you a horrifying picture of all the things that could go wrong. I didn't even come close to that and still my thoughts became completely consumed by all the things that could go wrong.
So if you're out there traveling, or just chasing your dreams at home, if you really want some change, DON'T give up! There are billions of people out there doing that, be original, take action and pursue it! That being said, I am currently working on learning some html and css coding so that I can make a more enjoyable website, so I won't have much new content while I work on that.
